As an entrepreneur and industry partner, Hemant Shah has served the global risk and insurance market for almost 30 years. He is a co-founder of Archipelago Analytics, a new venture-backed company focused on discovering win-win solutions across the risk and insurance value-chain. Hemant co-founded RMS (Risk Management Solutions) in 1989 as a spin-out from Stanford University, a company which he led until 2018 and grew to over 1,200 professionals worldwide. Mr. Shah is also a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute, and part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He has an MS and BS in Engineering from Stanford University.
